Toshiba Electronics Europe (TEE) is the European Headquarters for the electronic components business of Toshiba Corporation, which is the world's fourth largest semiconductor vendor according to estimates by Dataquest.
Providing design, manufacturing, marketing and sales, TEE was formed in 1973 in Neuss, Germany. The company now has headquarters in Düsseldorf, Germany and subsidiaries in France, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Company president is Mr Shikama and the total number of personnel in Europe is around 400.

Opto - LEDs
Toshiba LED lamps feature highest brightness by using Toshiba in-house four-element LED chip technology (InGaAlP). This leads to Higher Visibility, Low Power Consumption and High Reliability for the whole Toshiba LED line-up. The InGaAlP LED-devices cover all colours from red (630 nm) to pure green (560 nm).
Toshiba’s LED lamps feature more new color variations to meet our customers’ different needs. These series are available in surface-mount packages for use in end products that are small and thin. These LED lamps are used in a variety of applications, such as backlighting for LCDs and switches, compact portable and battery-operated devices.

Toshiba LEDs for Automotive
Toshiba is one of major suppliers for LEDs in Automotive Applications, especially for backlighting of Instrument Panels, Car Radios, Navigation Systems, Climate Control Units. The main Series is the TLxE1100-Series, which is in PLCC2 package.
All colors and automotive specific selections like wavelength sorting and luminosity half rank sorting are available.
